Last night was a big night for the baby kicking.  We were watching Tracy’s belly before we went to bed, and it looked like the baby was doing kicks directly at her belly button.  You could actually see her belly going up and down! I had my hand on her stomach when I got a good, solid kick!

The baby got his first piece of new furniture today. Grandma Ginny gave Alex and I a gift certificate for Sears. So, we put that together with money we got from Grandma Marge and Grandpa George and bought the baby a bassinet! It is so neat! I know this is probably controversial to some but the idea will be that the baby is in our room with us during the night for the first few months so that for night time feedings we don’t have to trek across the house. So this bassinet will be for our room. It also converts into a portable bed so we could take it with us on trips and outings as well.
