34 Weeks!

So I have reached 34 weeks….it seems to be getting closer and closer. Alex and I have narrowed the baby’s name down…and have pretty much picked a name…but we’re not telling….(except for Alex’s Grandpa!!!) We have also started to get the room more ready. All of the furniture is in place now, unfortunately it is all covered in stuff! Now that we have our washer and dryer back in place I can start washing the baby clothes and putting them away! I am going to wait until I am off from work to do that though. I only have 5 more days left of work and I can’t wait to put my feet up and get some sleep while I still can! I have many project ideas that I want to work on while I have a bit of time off before the baby. I want to make announcements, get some pre made meals ready for our freezer. One of my co-workers, Dacia, gave us a carseat from when she had her baby in ‘03. Also another co worker Barb has pretty much well given us her whole nursery!!! She gave us a whole bunch of toys, a diaper change pad…oh the list goes on forever! It is amazing how generous everyone is!

I have been so sick the past week…so sick my mom actually came over and took care of me! It was so nice to have her here! I am still recovering which is why the picture of me is so pale! I know I am usually pale but this is more then normal! I have my appointment with Dr Buie on Friday.

A neat thing happened this past week and that is the baby started getting hiccups. Kind of neat because I read it is a sign of advancement with neurological development. The baby is still in roughly the same position with his feet out to my right side. He is poking his feet out alot and seems to want to stretch for a long period of time. From being sick this past week I threw up and my stomach muscles feel like they separated a bit, and of course the little one has been poking his foot at the hole. He has found an escape route and wants to use it! I just love his little feet! I know I have said this before but I really can’t wait to see his little toes and his heel and give his little feet kisses!
