As some of you may know, I was the last male with the Harford last name in a large branch of the family tree. So we were happy to find out that we were having a boy. Grandpa George has always been interested in the family history, so he was excited to hear about his great grandson as well.

Now that we have a boy, the pressure is off me, and on to Matthew. I guess there still is a chance for more boys in the family, but my mom is hoping for the next one to be a girl. Four male grandchildren is enough for her.

Great Grandpa George (GGG) is in palliative care in North Vancouver, so we took Matthew for a visit. Unfortunately I can’t show the pages on the blog so you’ll have to follow the link. Picasa is excellent for displaying pictures though, and they don’t have any annoying banner ads. Check it out!
