Matthew is 6 weeks!

Thursday, May 31st, 2007

Wow time flies! Matthew smiles and laughs when he gets really excited. He has for the last 4 nights (hopefully I am not jinxing myself) went for 2 four hour chunks between start of feeding time to start of next time…so that is like almost 3 hours of sleep for me twice every night! When he wakes up he is absolutely starving! What a good boy! Here are some pictures of him lately!

Our baby is 1 month old!!

Wow does time ever fly! It was one month ago today that Matthew was born.  When I think of everything we have been through this month it seems as though it happened forever ago! Matthew is healthy happy and thriving!  He has started to smile now at people when they smile at him.  He has been having happy alert time in the morning when I put him in his crib that has toys lining the sides of it right now (because he isn’t sleeping in the crib…he is sleeping in the bassinet in our room)  He looks around at all of the toys especially a stuffed turtle that he got from my friends.  The other day he rolled over from his tummy to his back!  I am so proud of him.  We have adjusted to Alex returning to work but we miss him alot.  Matthew, Grandma Tetreau and I have been going on lots of trips out which he tolerates so well!

Here are some pictures of him over the last weekeyedsc_0048.JPG
